2025/2026 Classes

New for 2025/26 - Classes will be held on Tuesdays and Wednesdays
 

Zavirukha Ukrainian Dance School operates out of 1500 Day Street on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings. The executive committee is currently working on the 2025/26 class schedule, and will likely have three classes on each evening. APPROXIMATE class times would be 5:30pm - 6:30pm, 6:30pm - 7:15pm and 7:15pm - 9:00pm. Final class schedule for 2025/2026 will be provided in August 2025. Number of classes offered and date/time of the class will be dependent on the availability of our instructors as well as number of registrants.

*You do not need to register for a specific class, placements will be made based on age, enrollment, and experience.

CREATIVE MOVEMENT (ages 4-6): Wednesday 5:45pm-6:30pm​

SNEZHENKA (approx ages 6-7): Wednesday 5:45pm-6:45pm​

MOROZ  (approx ages 8-10): Wednesday 6:30pm-7:45pm​​

JR. ZAVIRUKHA (approx ages 11-12): Tuesdays 6:00pm-7:30pm​

ZAVIRUKHA T (approx ages 12+): Tuesdays 6:45-8:45pm

ZAVIRUKHA W (approx ages 12+): Wednesdays 6:45pm-8:45pm​​

2025/2026 Registration Fees

    

• First Student: $325.00

• Second Student: $300.00

• Third & Fourth Student: $275.00

• Creative Movement: $260.00

​

Fees include:

• Manitoba Ukrainian Dance Festival Registration ($15/dancer per dance)

• Digital Video of Recital ($15/dancer)

Cancellation/Withdrawal Dates

Until September 30: Full Refund
October 1 -  31: Half Tuition
Beyond November 1: No Refund Will Be Issued

After your form is processed, you will receive a confirmation email that you have secured a spot within 10 business days.

Uniform Requirements

​

All Dancers:

• Black Ballet Slippers or Jazz Shoes

** Hair must be tied back

​

Females:

Rehearsal

• Black Tights/Leggings

• Black Body Suit or Zavirukha T-Shirt
  (other colors are fine for Creative Movement/Snezhenka 1)
   

Performance (all females): 

• White bicycle shorts and undershirt (for under costume)

Males

• Dark Sweat Pants

• Black T-Shirt or Zavirukha T-Shirt
